lease read descriptions below and look closely at all pictures as they provide details and condition of doll.
My aunt received this Chatty Cathy doll for Christmas 1961. This doll has soft head/face with blue eyes and eyelashes that open and close, rosy cheeks, freckles, strawberry blonde bob hairstyle and pink lips with 2 upper teeth. She is 20” tall. Both of her hands are a more open hand style. Her arms and legs are a lighter color than the body. (Please see pictures)
The Chatty Cathy body has the hex speaker without the circle around it. The pull ring with string is missing so I do not know if she would still talk or not. The body seam and shoulder has separation on the left side and between the legs in crotch area. The right side might have been glued. She has a few marks/discolorations on her. Please see pictures included as they are part of the descriptions and condition also.
On the mid back of the body is stamped: CHATTY CATHY T.M. PATENTS PENDING© MCMLX BY MATTEL INC. HAWTHORNE, CALIF.
