Description
Ideal accessory to attach your RODE GO receiver to a mirrorless, DSLR or camcorderThe DXA-GO is a two-channel, audio adapter / bracket combo that lets you mount, connect and control your GO wireless receiver plus a second wireless or self-powered camera mic to your camera. Noise free passive circuitry requires no batteries or power to operate. Its compact size fits neatly on top of any mirrorless, DSLR or camcorder that has a standard mounting shoe. Includes 3.5mm stereo output cable.
Compact Chassis Holds the GO Receiver Perfectly
The mounting shoe on the front of the adapter allows you to position the GO receiver to face you while recording to easily view the display. Two additional shoes allow you to mount other accessories like a second wireless, light, or a self-powered camera mic like the popular RODE VideoMic Pro or new VideoMic NTG. Mounting the GO in front and a self-powered camera mic on top makes for a very neat, compact setup.
Easy to Setup and Use
Controlling the audio levels is a snap – real volume knobs mean no hunting through multi-layer menus trying to find or change settings. The two mono mini-jack inputs and one stereo input provide plenty of versatility. Connect a single or any combination of two wireless or wired mics at the same time. Since the audio is recorded directly to the camera, it will always be in sync with the video which eliminates the need for syncing in post.
Noise Free Operation
With no electronics to get in the way, the DXA-GO provides noise free directly to the camera. The adapter is also virtually unclipable and offers an extremely wide dynamic range. Since it is passive, no batteries or power are required to operate the adapter.
Adjust Recording Levels
Quickly and easily adjust the proper recording levels for the best performance. Detented volume controls provide drift free operation and precise control. You can even use the bracketing feature to set two different levels on both channels when using a single mono mic giving you a backup in case one channel is blown out.
MONO or STEREO Operation
Set the output mode to STEREO when connecting two mono mics or one stereo mic for two channel recording. Set the output mode to MONO when using one mic for dual channel mono recording. You can also connect a mono mic that has a TRS connector to the STEREO input to bracket the audio.
Super Compact, Super Tough
High quality components and a robust passive design make this super reliable and dependable. All wrapped up in a compact extruded aluminum chassis.
