Condition: stand measures 17-3/8" tall. the shovel is approx. 10-1/2" long. the poker (cast iron bottom half) is around 10-3/4" long. the brush (wood and brass) is around 9-1/2" long. set shows age and wear and use. there are some spots of finish loss. appears to be well made. weighs almost 2 pounds. stamped Japan on bottom of the stand. the brass sections do not attract a magnet. very pretty. I am assuming this was a table top set. I am not sure the exact age or history of this item. I found it while going thru my gramps estate. item is being sold as is in used pictured condition. please ask any/all questions before bidding. thanks
