Chatty Cathy Doll Original Vintage 1960 Soft Face #2 Body Restoration Parts

When I got out of the hospital at the age of 5, my mom asked me if there was anything I would like, I quickly answered, "a Chatty Cathy."  She went everywhere with me and I loved her so much.  Many years later I passed her down to my daughter and then my two granddaughters and they loved her too.  She was loved so much that she started to fall apart and now it's time to see if she can be put to good use to either be repaired or have her body parts shared with another Chatty Cathy that might be in need of them.
She has beautiful decal eyes but has lost her teeth and she doesn't speak anymore but the voice box is still inside her and the string and ring attached. The speaker is cloth covered.  She has a crack on her back and missing plastic between her legs so one leg doesn't stay on.  Her arms and legs are in good shape but a bit dirty.  Her face is soft and her body is a number 2.  All of her parts are her own.  Her hair is a strawberry blonde but I'm guessing that they just called her blonde and though most of her hair plugs are there, the bottom few rows on the back of her head above her neck are missing some.  I can't seem to get her head back on but I'm sure someone who knows how to twist it just right can.
I'm going to miss this old gal but my wish is for someone to put what she has left to good use and make her shine again!
