Simply gorgeous vintage almost antique Singer Sewing machine burl walnut cabinet or stand with the beautiful Queen Anne legs.
This cabinet is just so beautiful . The burl walnut patterns on the lid are truly amazing to look at. Dates between 1936 and 1941. Very high quality cabinet made by Singer and numbered J000551.
This cabinet is complete and ready to drop your special Singer into it be it a 201 or a 15-91 or a model 66. It has the knee lever, the controller bracket, auto opening support arm for the lid, the lift assist bracket on the side of the hole  and posts to slide your Singer onto. Drawer opens nicely and is clean inside.
Condition is excellent, no stains or any damage to the wood at all.  The lid opens and shuts perfectly as the two parts come together and sits nice and flat.
Measures 25 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 31 inches tall when closed and 50 inches wide open. The hole is the standard 14 3/4 inches by 7 inches. The posts are standard 9 3/4 inches apart.
