Description
This Irish ½ copper farthing was issued under the reign of King Edward IV and circulated from 1460 – 1463 AD. Strangely, the mint and its accompanying moneyer remains anonymous, though we do know that it falls under the Anglo-Norman denomination of crown coinage. These coins weighed in at 1.25g and featured a crown, toothed border, and the legend “TRIR° (branch) PA”.------
