Description
This rare Irish silver farthing was issued by King John of Dublin, Ireland in the year 1208 AD. It falls with the “REX” series of coinage and was produced by the moneyer “ROBERD” in the Dublin mint (which explains the inscription surrounding the pinwheel sun).------
