I have used an auger in the past which worked only alright. This was SIGNIFICANTLY easier and worked like a charm. Just start low with the PSI and slowly increase as necessary. Saved me the cost of a plumber and I let family use it when needed.

This machine works amazingly. For 17 years we have had slow drain issues in our house. Each time it gets really bad it means tearing apart pipes and dragging out the big machine. While it beats calling a plumber it is without a doubt a pain. This air snake really speeds up that process and does just as well. No pipe removal. Just dial up the right pressure, the lower the better, and hit the trigger.

a little spendy, but...I'm thinking if you have to call a plumber to clear a toilet, 2 times will pay for itself . we have a family member that passes large rubbery stools that are nearly impossible to plunge...we're already halfway there. there's a learning curve to get the right seal. if you don't get a good seal before you pull the trigger, you will get wet!

I'm a plumber and was surprised how good it was for using it on my latest call. It was just a clogged bathroom sink that was going slow and all the pvc piping underneath was glued , I used the air snake at low psi and it was able to clear it easily. Will use this product more to see what its limitations are. The free battery was a plus as well.Pros : shortens down the time needed to do the job, bypasses glued pipes that limit access for normal snaking do not have to deal with taking apart corroded pipes that could further exacerbate by damaging themCons: distance from the clog, i'm assuming that it has less power pass 35 feet multiple lines would further dissipate the air pressure , must inundate the pipes for snake to have airpressure to push further down the line a little bit pricey but will pay for itself , the faster the job done
