Bought this to replace a 5 year old general super vee. The Milwaukee is better in every way. Weight, size, and ease of use. Love how I can lock the cable with just a twist of the collar. The old general never locked up like it should of. And the flat bottom is clutch! So much easier to set it on your knee or the cabinet base. And the torque of this this is perfect. Didn’t even take 1 bar off my 5.0 after snaking a 25’ drain! If you’re on the fence about getting it don’t be! Go for it!

I have the m18 cable auto feed drain snake also have the m12 cable snake manual feed, two m18 back pack cable machines and all m18 n m12 power tools I love all of it best tools on the market no matter what trade your in. Maybe Milwaukee will show me some love back with some promotional gear or tools.

It’s slightly weaker then expected but overall in comparison to past snake guns this one has the best of many aspects including it the hidden drum, lighter weight then previous similar models, 50 ft, it’s cordless, and it auto feeds! It would be nice if future models had different heads to use.

I have some drains that clog up about once a year. It is so annoying and hard to get to. I convinced my brother to go in half for this beast, because it is pretty pricey for a homeowner and occasional use. It worked really great and is very clean to use with the enclosed housing for the yucky cable. Highly recomended, especially if you already have M18 batteries.

I got this tool back in November but have waited 6 months to write my review on it because I wanted to get the chance to use it as much as possible and get a good feel for it and really test it out!
