Modernist set of solid cast brass with a nickel plating, Fireplace Tool Set. This caliber tool set designed by Bennington (VT) Bronze
(Nancy Ruben & her partner) and made by Virginia Metalcrafters. Solid cast brass with a nickel plating. First made around 1985-86.
This modernist contemporary set of polished nickel and solid cast brass is well constructed includes  a streamline stand includes poker, tongs, shovel and broom. The broom sweeping hair needs replacing, but the tools are solid and in excellent condition. I am selling separately in another listing a companion pair of custom mid-century modernist style polished nickel andirons. These fireplace tools are beautiful and will add sophisticated styling to any fireplace setting. Very nice history on these pieces as I will share with the buyer.
