ONE RUPEES (AGRA AKBAR SILVER COIN) - Graphite Coin Mold

Description

Though little is known about the history of this specific round (other than its origin in the Indian Subcontinent), we do know that coinage of Emperor Akbar’s “Agra” mint is generally regarded as the most beautiful amongst all the Mughal Emperors. Emperor Akbar issued various similarly styled gold, silver, and copper coins from this mint from 963-989AH.
