A trick to try from Serious campers is to Take a washer machine, wash tub, or clean garbage can, fill
with water to
completely cover the item/items and
add 1-2 cups of Downy depending on size and # of items you are cleaning and
let it soak for 3 hrs.
rinse and let air dry
overnight
