Description

Here is a pair of feet that will set off your vintage Singer sewing machine.  Back in the day...
The
function
of this pair of attachments was to allow the needle to pass close to the edge of a cord placed under a folded-over piece of fabric.  This
decorative finish
can be found on many pillows and cushions, and is useful for other sewing projects as well.  I'll bet zippers hadn't been invented when they first designed these feet, though nowadays these feet also allow a seamstress to sew close to the edge of a zipper during garment construction.
Part # 15429 is called the left toe, and its companion is part # 125035, the right toe.
These parts are listed for all side-attaching, low shank machines, including the beloved Featherweights, Models 221, 222, as well as the 15, most 66s, 201, 206, 306, 319, and many more.  They are stamped with "
SIMANCO U.S.A.
" and the part number on the inside of the shank of each foot.  They are in good to very good used condition,
and should give many more years of service.  (
NOTE
:  The left toe piece has a wear mark that I didn't notice until I saw the pictures - I'll be upgrading this and adding new pictures.)

.  You may know how to use these attachments, but I think it's fun to have this.  Did you know, or do you remember, that sewing machines didn't have reverse at first, and you had to turn your work around to go back in the other direction?  So, you would only need one "side" of a foot, like the left toe :-)

Returns
Returns will be allowed within 30 days of receipt of the item - contact me immediately with any concerns, please. The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was mailed, including protective packaging. Once received and inspected, a refund will be issued.
